Annabelle Lucas, age 92, lifelong resident of Joplin, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at her daughter's home with family at her side.
Annabelle was born October 19, 1924 in Joplin, daughter of the late Oliver Perry West and Bertha Cellaner West. She attended Joplin Schools, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin J. Lucas, and two great-grandsons.
She is survived by her children, Richard Lynn Lucas and wife Laurel of Spring City, Missouri, Jackie Lee Lucas and wife Nancy of Alba, Missouri, and Barbara Ann Yeisley and husband Jerry of Springfield, Missouri; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Wednesday from Noon until 1:00 p.m.
