Beverley Ann Coiner, 79, Nixa, MO, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 in Cox Hospital. Beverley was born December 22, 1936 in Carthage; the daughter of Lloyd Owen Coiner and Mildred Naomi Coiner. She was a 1954 graduate of Carthage Senior High School, attended two years at the Joplin Junior College and later attended Drury College, Springfield. Beverley moved to Springfield in July of 1963 and worked for Hoffman Supply Company, Chase National Life Insurance Company, American National Casualty Insurance Co., and Penmac. She was an active member of the University Heights Baptist Church, Springfield.
Beverley is survived by three sisters: Myrna Coiner, Carthage, Shirley (Bob) Collins, Springfield, and Norma (Phil) Jones, Springfield, seven nieces and nephews, and twelve great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Loyd L. Coiner.
Beverley enjoyed traveling, including three trips to Hawaii, was an accomplished bowler, an avid reader, and enjoyed selling Avon in her retirement.
A Memorial Service will be held at Knell Mortuary, Carthage, MO on Thursday, October 6, at 1:00 pm, with Visitation at 12:00 pm. Interment will be in Paradise Cemetery.
