Robert M. Leslie, 92, of Southwest City, Missouri passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on October 28, 1923 in Franklin Township, Pennsylvania to the late, Rolland and Eunice (Matthews) Leslie. He worked as an appliance serviceman and served in World War II in the United States Navy. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed going to the Senior Center, Casinos and Flea Markets. He attended the United Methodist Church in Southwest City, Missouri.
Bob is survived by his best friend, Betty Coyle of Southwest City, Missouri; children, Diane Brown of Duvall, Washington, Linda Ellis of Gold Bar, Washington; brother, Eugene Leslie of Ocala, Florida; two sisters, Eleanor Brown of Clay, New York, Joan Eike of Barton, New York; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Bob.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Southwest City Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Private burial will follow the service in the Southwest City cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri.
