Loren Elwood Moser, 87, of Joplin, Missouri departed this life on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Loren entered this life on April 26, 1929 to the union of the late Ray T. and Bertha E. (Baker) Moser. After school Loren proudly served in the United States Army, retiring after twenty plus years. Returning home he worked several years for Allgeier Martin and Atlas Powder, both of Joplin, Missouri. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, solitaire and all types of trivia. He was a member of Joplin and Stockton VFW lodges.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Moser, Roy Moser, Leland and Theron Moser.
Loren is survived by his children, Jason Moser and wife Julie of Joplin, Missouri, Beth Trigg and husband Larry of Kansas City, Missouri, Brian Moser and wife Jonnette of Blair, Wisconsin and Karla White and husband Dusty of Rogers, Arkansas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services with full military honors are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Sarcoxie Cemetery.
