Sharon Poindexter, 72, passed away November 13, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri. Sharon was born February 25, 1944 in Joplin, Missouri to Gerald and Eyvonne (Niskern) Carter. Sharon was in customer service and attended the First Baptist Church of Carthage.
Sharon is survived by one son Jeff Poindexter and wife Lindy of The Colony, Texas, three grandchildren, one sister Beverly Hardy and husband Bill, one brother Darrell Carter and wife Lorraine.
Sharron is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter Jennifer Kauffman in 2005.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Ulmer Funeral Home, Carthage. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
