Kevin J. Owen, age 57, of Webb City, Missouri passed away Sunday March 26, 2017 following a sudden illness.
He was born September 21, 1959 in Joplin, Missouri.
Kevin was employed with the Webb City R-VII School District and the City of Webb City Police Department. He was a member of Christ’s Church or Oronogo. Kevin enjoyed fishing and being involved with his daughter’s volleyball team both at high school and her traveling team. He loved working at the middle school in Webb City and was the morning high five greeter.
He is survived by his daughter, Aubre Conway-Owen, two brothers, Gene and Bill Owen, and two sisters, Beverly Owen and Kathy Vega.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Lee
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday at Christ’s Church of Oronogo with Pastor Lew Poe officiating. Burial will follow at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Webb City, Missouri.
