Margaret “Mickey” Seward of Joplin, MO passed from this life on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO. She was 66.
Mickey was born December 5, 1950 in Miami, OK to John Marion and Sarah Margaret (Spicer) Seward. She graduated from Commerce High School in 1968. She had lived in Joplin for the past 5 years, moving from Commerce. She had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for several years and was a member of Iron Gates Christian Church in Joplin.
Mickey was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her brothers, Bob Seward and wife Jani of Post Falls, ID, David Seward and wife Liza of Austin, AR, her sister, Sharon Link and husband Tim of Laramie, WY and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Pastor Charles Stillman will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami. David Seward, Ben Seward, Christian Gay, Tim Link, Jim Clemons and Joe Oswald will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3-4 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami.
