Claudene Builta, 79, Neosho, entered into rest on May 26, 2017 at Medicalodge Neosho after several months’ illness.
Claudene was born May 6, 1938 in Neosho, MO, the daughter of Claude and Gladys (Wyatt) Richards. Claudene grow up in Neosho, lived in Kansas for many years and moved back to Neosho after her retirement.
She worked as a cook for Nursing Homes, Schools and Hospitals. Claudene was a devout Christian.
Claudene married George Gary Builta, Sr. and he precedes her in death on May 13, 2007. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Builta and wife, Cheryl of Wellington, Kansas and Gary Builta, Jr. and wife Christine of Neosho and one daughter, Dianna Luznicky and husband Howard, of Bella Vista, Arkansas. Two sisters, Joyce Rose and husband Bob of Neosho, and Eva Morrison and husband Gary of Neosho, fourteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by two sons, Kenny Builta and Michael Lee Builta, and one sister, Barbara Wallace.
Services will be held on Wed, May 31, 2017 at 10:00 am, Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Rev. Mark Kirby will officiate. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, south of Neosho. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-7 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
