Mary Sullenger, age 86, of Joplin passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born on May 20, 1930 in Thornfield, Missouri to Perry Kastning and Florence ( Roach) Kastning.
Mary married Harold Sullenger on May 7, 1953 and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1990. She is survived by her sons, Joe Sullenger and wife Vicky of Webb City, James Sullenger and wife Jane of Winfield, Kansas; daughters, Jeanie Sullenger and Julia Sullenger both of Joplin; along with grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Carterville Cemetery. Friends and family may view at the funeral home starting on Monday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, where the family will be present for a visitation between the hours of 10:00 AM and 10:45 AM. Burial will be in Carterville Cemetery.
