Joseph D. Black, age 37, of Branson, Mo. passed away at 11:00 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2017 at his home in Branson. Joseph was born December 19, 1979 in Joplin, Mo. and had recently moved to Branson where he was employed as a Cook with Big Whiskey's American Restaurant on Branson's Landing.
Survivors include his Mother, Sharon Black, Sarcoxie, Mo.,his Father, Rod Black, St. Louis, Mo. a brother, Jared Black, Paternal Grandmothers, Colleen Black, Joplin, and Sylvia Traynor, Kansas City, his Maternal Grandfather, Jack Allgood, Joplin, and Aunts, Jacci Pim and husband Richard, Joplin, Kathy Pruitt, Kansas City, and Sherrie Black, Las Vegas, Nevada Joseph was preceded in death by a brother, David Black.
Cremation arrangments have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory of Joplin, Mo.
