Susan A. Werries, 65, Neosho, entered into rest on Sept. 28, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, following an extended illness.
Susan was born May 25, 1952 in Newton County, Missouri, the daughter of Edward Snow, Jr. and Irene (Macy) Snow. She was a lifelong area resident and a homemaker. She loved her family and she loved being a ‘nana’ to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Neosho United Methodist Church.
Susan and Rex H. Werries were married on June 19, 1970 in Neosho and he survives. Additional survivors include two daughters, Tammy Tuggle and husband, Chris of Lincoln, Nebraska and Tracie Tice of Neosho; three grandchildren, Chase Werries and wife, Samantha, Cayline Tice and Olivia Tuggle; three great grandchildren, Riley Paige Werries, Camreigh Werries and Lane Tice; two brothers, Eddie Snow and wife, Adrea of Navarre, Florida and Bill Snow and wife, Susan of Neosho and sister in law, Twyla Snow of Seneca. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Stanley Snow and Rick Snow.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 at 10 am at New Salem Cemetery, Pastor Greg Snow will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening at the Clark Funeral Home from 6 to 7 pm, the casket will be closed at all times. Contributions in memory of Susan may be made to the Newton County Cancer Council, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
