Imogene Sue King of Wyandotte, OK passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at Galena Nursing Center in Galena, KS. She was 82.
Imogene was born July 6, 1935 in Columbus, KS to William Floyd and Martha Jane (Vance) Wells. She had lived in the Wyandotte, OK and Columbus, KS area all of her life. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1953 and had worked for Oklahoma Leather in Miami and NEO A&M College in Miami. She was a member of the Sycamore Valley Methodist Church in Wyandotte, OK.
Imogene was preceded in death by her husband Jacob Andrew King, on September 15, 2003 and a son Steven Ray Bonbrake, her parents and a sister Dora Dell Pouge.
Survivors include 1 son, Gilbert “Gib” Allen Bonbrake of Miami, OK, 2 daughters Susan Diana Harris and husband Buddy of Seneca, MO and Wanda Lea Rossman and husband Jerome Pagorski of Galena, KS, her brother Robert Leon Wells of Columbus, KS and a sister Norma Jean Dochow of Columbus, KS, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ottawa Indian Cemetery, SE of Miami, OK. Rev. John Bates will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
