Richard Lee Williams, age 73, of Lamar, Missouri died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Freeman Hospital West.
Lee was born November 23, 1943 at home in Hannon, Missouri to Ocee Olen and Naomi Violet (Hoover) Williams. He served his country in the United States Navy and Army. He worked as an over the road truck driver, and in his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, leatherworking and woodcarving.
Lee leaves behind his wife, Martha Elizabeth “Liz” Redmond Williams; children, John Hagerman and wife Rebecca, Melissa Fulkerson and husband James, T.J. Williams and wife Barbara and Elizabeth Corbet; grandchildren, Brittany and husband Matthew Johnson, Jacob Hagerman, Madelyn Hagerman, Emily Hagerman, Camille Hagerman, Bethany Hagerman, Brand Hagerman, Sarah Hagerman, Logan Marie and husband Charles Flemister, Matthew Walford, Laramie Dawn Walford, Cordell Williams and Trisden Williams; great grandchildren Lili Johnson, Avery Johnson, and Michael Hagerman; brothers, John Williams, Robert Williams, Jacob Williams; sisters, Lillian Hartman, Althea Van De Mark, and Vera Pegel.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Ocee Olen Williams, Naomi Violet (Hoover) Evans Williams Orahood; two brothers, James Carroll Evans and Charles Ronald Williams; a sister Zella Arline Shaver; a son, Rick Williams; grandchildren, Luke Tyler Hagerman and Wyatt Williams.
To honor his wishes, Lee was taken for cremation and the family will have private services.
