Fanny Louise Hatten, age 85, Joplin, formerly of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in Joplin.
Fanny was born April 17, 1932 in Thealka, Kentucky, daughter of the late Bert and Lilly Mae Cassel. She was one of ten children, and graduated from high school before attending Bible College. She married Renaldo Hatten on April 10, 1952 in Ohio, and the couple moved to Phoenix. She spent her life taking care of her five children and husband. After her husband preceded her in death on July 30, 2005, she moved to Joplin in 2013 to be closer to her daughter.
In addition to her parents, and her husband, Renaldo, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Cooper, and brothers, David and Bill Cassel.
Survivors include her children, Diane Dienhart and husband David of Caldwell, Idaho, Larry Hatten of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Deborah Rieck and husband Eric of Oronogo, Missouri, Tim Hatten and wife Tanya of Federal Way, Washington, and Philip Hatten and wife Carol of Litchfield, AZ; eleven grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren; siblings, Opal Patrick and husband Joe of Jamestown, Ohio, Barbara Hackley of Springfield, Ohio, Florence Williams of Chilicothe, Ohio, Bert Cassel of Springfield, Ohio, Connie Gatty and husband Dave of Pilot Point, Texas, and Kay Blair of Springfield, Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, November 7, 20117 at 7:00 p.m. at Mesa Church, Mesa, Arizona.
Interment will be private in Green Acres Cemetery, Scottsdale, Arizona.
