Lea Etta Brown, 84, Clarence, MO, formerly of the Joplin, MO area, passed away November 24, 2017 at Macon Health Care after fighting a long battle with cancer.
Lea Etta was born August 25, 1933 in Tonitown, AR the daughter of Frank and Elsie McClendon.
Lea Etta was a former member of the Elks Lodge in Galena, KS, the Eagles, Joplin, MO and The Riverton Boat and Ski Club. She retired from Consumers in 1999 where she was a cashier.
Lea Etta married Chester Brown and he proceeded her in death November 10, 2006.
Survivors include one son, LeRoy Brown and wife Arlene, Converse, TX; two daughters, Frankie Adams and husband Larry, Clarence, MO and Konnie Powell and husband Jeff, Webster Grove, MO; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Hornet Cemetery with Doug Lawson officiating. Pallbearers will be LeRoy Brown, Larry Adams, Michael M. Blankenship, Michael W. Blankenship, Jeff Powell and Neal Points. Honorary pallbearer will be Everett Bussey.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice Compassus Macon, MO in care of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, PO Box 380, Seneca, MO 64865.
