Margaret Louise Robertson, age 91, of Joplin, passed away on Sunday at 2:15 p.m. at Spring River Christian Village, following a long illness.
Margaret was born June 7, 1926 in Joplin the daughter of Lawrence and Hester (Smalley) Qualls. She married Billie M. Robertson on February 8, 1945 in Miami, Ok., together they made their home in Baxter Springs, Ks., he preceded her in death on November 13, 2012. She worked for Southwestern Bell for ten years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Baxter Springs. Margaret enjoyed cooking, shopping, and was an avid pro baseball fan. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother.
Margaret is survived by her son Tom Robertson and his wife Amber of Carthage, Mo., six grandchildren, Kyle Robertson and his wife Christina, Austin Robertson and his wife Allena and Addi Marn and her husband Mike, Kayla and James Carter, Kevin Hinson, Chloe Obloj and eleven great-grandchildren, a brother Bob Qualls of Salina, Ks. She was preceded in death by a son, Gregg Robertson in 1977 and three brothers.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday November 22, 2017 at Baxter Springs Cemetery, Baxter Springs, Ks. Pastor Justin Coberly will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
