Rex Sidenstricker, age 77 of Webb City, Missouri passed away November 23, 2017 following a short illness.
He was born June 2, 1940 in Neck City, Missouri to Otto and Alma (Neece) Sidenstricker.
Rex was a self-employed construction worker and had also worked for Schreiber. He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden, playing cards and dominos.
He married Rachel Munson in April, 1959 at Miami, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on February 17, 1974. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Rhonda Sidenstricker-Fisher, January 23, 1996, Renee Sidenstricker, March 5, 2012; four brothers and two sisters.
Rex is survived by one son, Rusty Sidenstricker and wife Kathryn, Webb City, Missouri; one daughter, Robin Passley, Webb City, Missouri; four grandchildren, Travis Passley, Drew Passley, Jana Smith, Rachel Sidenstricker; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Howard Sidenstricker, Webb City, Missouri; two sisters, Karen Chaney, Purcell, Missouri, and Bonnie Robinson, Alba, Missouri.
Funeral services will be 6:00 pm Monday December 4, 2017 at the Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home with Danny “Bo” Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends at 5:00 pm prior to the service. A private family internment will follow at a later date.
