Seth Henry Cupp, age 53, Joplin, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 in Galena, Kansas from a sudden illness.
Seth was born May 18, 1964 in Joplin, son of Harrison and Ruby Cupp, and graduated from Memorial High School. He worked for his family business, Cupp Sanitation, as a driver during his teen years before beginning his career with Jordan Disposal where he has worked for the past 30 years. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing or hunting, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Tommy Carson.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy "Janie" Jordan Cupp; step children, Autumn Blackburn and Michael White both of Joplin; grandchildren, Devon Blackburn, Dalton White, Kirha Blackburn, and Dayden White; parents, Harrison and Ruby Wigent Cupp of Joplin, brothers, Harrison Cupp and wife Lynn of Carthage, Jeff Cupp and wife Carolyn of Seneca, Jai Cupp and wife Camillia of Joplin; sisters, Kristy Carson and husband Tom, and Karen Crane and husband Bob both of Joplin, Lori Callis and husband Randy of Diamond; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Fairview Cemetery with Denny Carver officiating and family serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Sunday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
