Juanita Settles Brill went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 16, 2018.
She was born March 10, 1934, in Galena, Missouri, to the late Lonnie and Stella White.
She married Harley Allen Settles on March 27, 1951, in Joplin, and to this union two daughters were born.
Survivors include her daughters, Lynn Baine of Springfield, Missouri, and Leslie Liontas of Joplin, Missouri; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is her husband, Oscar Brill, of Carterville, Missouri, whom she married in September of 2003.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; and six siblings, Jewell Dowell, Elsie Malone, Gerard Dennis, Merel Tilton, Ralph White and Richard White.
Funeral services or Juanita are 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018, in the chapel of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary with Ken and Jolene Edens officiating. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Joe Huddleston, Channin Burrus, Donald Douglas, Skyler Duley, Chad Duley and Derek Cornish. The family would like to send a sincere thanks to Mercy Hospice of Joplin and Becks Floral in Neosho. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
