Junior Anderson

Calvin Junior Anderson, 75 years, of Southwest City, Missouri passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at his residence.

Junior was born on August 28, 1942 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to the late Bob and Martha (Kustanborter) Anderson. He married Geraldine Goins on November 17, 1989 at Maysville, Arkansas. He was the first paper route boy in Siloam Springs, Arkansas; he helped his dad run the B&J Feed Store in Siloam Springs and he owned and operated the Junior Anderson Trucking Company for 28 years. Junior really enjoyed watching the grandkids play football, reminiscing about the good old days; watching sports and the professional bull riders. Most of all Junior loved his family and cherished the time spent with them.

Junior is survived by his wife, Geraldine Anderson of the home; a daughter Ginger Isaacs and husband, Gene of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; a son, Bobby Anderson of Colcord, Oklahoma; stepchildren, Malinda Reno of Ketchum, Oklahoma, Ron Reece and wife, Karen of Verdigris, Oklahoma, Tim Reece of Southwest City, Missouri; a brother, Larry Anderson of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; along with a host of other family members and friends who will dearly miss Junior.

Funeral services for Junior will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Southwest City, Missouri. Pastor Jeff Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Southwest City Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at this time.
