Mary F. Moser, 92 of Iantha, Mo passed away at her home Tuesday, January 30, 2018.
She was born October 9, 1925 at home to George and Laura (Blanchard) Baston. Mary attended Iantha and Liberal schools, graduating from Liberal High School. She married Earl Moser February 28, 1948 in Greenfield, Mo they set up housekeeping near Jasper, Mo, later moving to Noel, MO, but settled in Iantha, Mo where they raised their 3 sons; Ron, Robert, Roger (Joyce) and 1 daughter Robin Peckman (Mick). Mary worked at O’Sullivan Industries in the paint department until her retirement in 1991. Mary was a member of Iantha Methodist Church.
If you were to describe Mary it would be kind, sweet, never raised her voice, a hard working country girl who would laugh uncontrollably tears rolling down her cheeks. She enjoyed her grandkids, Sunday dinners, gardening, canning the garden produce (always more green beans than anyone would need) and hanging laundry on the clothesline to dry. She was partial to her dogs and cats. Yes, she was a country girl!
She is survived by her 4 children, 5 grandkids; Jennifer Davis, Eric Moser, Misty Sorte, Kelsey Peckman and Andy Peckman, 6 great-grandkids; Rustyn, Bailynn, Isabelle, Nathaniel, Hailey and Madilyn. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Earl in 1986, daughter-in-law Wanda Faye in 2013, brother Claude Baston, sisters Dillia Percy and Ruby Worley.
