Mary Pennington

Mary Rose Pennington, age 88, passed away at 1:31 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 at Freeman Hospital after an illness.

Mary was born August 10, 1929 in Joplin and had lived in Joplin most of her life.

She worked as a department manager at Joplin Sheltered Workshops for over twenty years, retiring in 1992.

Survivors include several extended family members.

Services are planned for Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Jeff Martin will officiate. Interment will follow at Osborne Memorial Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
