Pearl McCleary, 88, Neosho, entered into rest on Jan. 24, 2018 in Neosho, following a sudden illness.
Pearl was born June 16, 1929 in Jasper, Arkansas, the daughter of Lee Roy and Charlotte (Amberg) Davison. She graduated from Granby High School in 1947 and was a homemaker and supported her family in the family business. She loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ since the early 1960’s.
Pearl married Donald J.. McCleary on June 22, 1947 at Granby and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2013. She is survived by one son, Ron McCleary and wife, Jan of Independence, MO and Kathy Lee and husband, Gregg of Neosho; four grandchildren, Erin, Heather, Sarah and Chris; six great grandchildren, Gracie, Kenzi, Maverick, Hagen, Marshall and Julian; two brothers, Charles Davison of the state of Washington and Gene Davison and wife, Linda of Granby and five sisters, Mae Ohering of Jefferson City; Virginia Akehurst and husband, Grover of Granby; Agnes Davis and husband, Bob of Ada, OK; Wilma Madewell of Ft. Smith, AR and Jeanette Burgess and husband, George of Neosho.
Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in the Granby Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Tuesday from 9:30 until service time at the funeral home.
