Larry E. Dickey, 65, passed away March 3, 2018 at Freeman Hospital, Joplin, Missouri. Larry was born September 11, 1952 in St. Louis, MO. Larry grew up in and spent most of his life in Sibley, IL and moved to Carthage two years ago. Larry was a radiation therapist and traveled throughout the United States; he spent the last five years with Mercy Hospital in Ada, OK.
Larry was united in marriage to Kimberly Grundy July 3, 2015 in Pensacola, Florida; she survives.
Larry is survived by his dad, Jerry Ellege; one son, Thomas E. Dickey of St. Joseph, IL; two daughters, Misty Ewing of Urbana, IL and Heather Bradley of Trenton, TN; two step-daughters, Kelsey Chilton of Seneca, MO and Kasie Thrasher of Oronogo, MO; one sister, Wendy Miller of Lexington, KY and two brothers, Gerald Ellege from Maryland and Melvin Moore from Sibley, IL.
Larry is preceded in death by his mom, Clarice Donoho.
Memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Ulmer Funeral Home.
