Rosie Lea “Tudgie” Kaderly of Commerce, OK passed from this life Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at her home. She was 90.
Tudgie was born February 29, 1928 east of Quapaw, OK to Jacob Henry and Eliza Mae (Ussery) Eby. She had lived in Commerce for 45 years moving from Baxter Springs, KS. She was a member of the Douthat Pentecostal Holiness Church. She had worked at Leigh Manor in Picher, Eastwood Manor in Commerce, Care Nursing Home and Miami Nursing Home in Miami and Eva’s Nursing Home in Baxter Springs, KS as a cook. She also had worked at Murphy’s Restaurant in Baxter Springs, KS and Mickey Mantle’s Holiday Inn Restaurant in Joplin, MO as a waitress.
Tudgie was preceded in death by her husband John Felix Kaderly, her parents and 10 siblings.
Survivors include one son Glenn Dean Kinney and wife Lois of Memphis, TN, one daughter Edna Miller of Commerce, OK, three grandchildren Justin Kinney, Ashely Paige and Keisha Miller and 4 great grandchildren Lauren Paige, Ethan Paige, Emily Paige and Sophia Kinney.
Graveside services will be Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Miami, OK. Rev. Jason Taylor will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
