Jack L. Tusinger, 83, Diamond, entered into rest on May 31, 2018 at Carthage Health and Rehab, following an extended illness.
Jack was born Nov. 28, 1934 in Lamar, MO, the son of Rubin F. and Bernice (Stehm) Tusinger. He was a lifelong area resident and served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a test supervisor in the aircraft refurbishing industry. He enjoyed fishing, hunting auto restoration and doing stained glass. He was a member of the Abou Ben Adhem; Abou Ben Adhem Hillbillies; a 32 degree mason and member of the Masonic lodge. He was of the Lutheran faith.
Jack and Charlotte (Howard) were married on May 21, 1971 and she survives. Additional survivors include four children, Debi Tusinger of Disney, OK; Steve Tusinger and wife, Kristie of Joplin; Jeff Macy and wife, Catherine of Overland Park, KS and Mitchell Tusinger of Joplin; six grandchildren, Zachary Tusinger, Abby Tusinger, Megan Macy, Alex Macy, Micah Tusinger and Devin Tusinger. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Tusinger.
A memorial Masonic Service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 10 am at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho. The family will receive friends following the masonic service until 11:30.
