Betty Stice

Betty Lou Stice, 79, of Columbus, KS, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

She was born April 8, 1939, in Columbus, KS, to Leo and Maggie (Arbuckle) Wilson. She attended school in Columbus.

In April of 1989, Betty married the love her life Jesse Stice, he preceded her in death.

Betty is survived by 4 brothers; Francis (Wanda) Wilson of Pleasanton, KS, Jim Wilson of Miami, OK, Rick Wilson of Columbus, KS, Frankie (Debbie) Wilson of Columbus, KS, 6 sisters; Kay Gary of Columbus, KS, Linda (Wayne) Ray of Riverton, KS, Gloria (Albert) Turnbough) Baxter Springs, KS, Patsy Jones of Carl Junction, MO, Ruby Turnbough of Columbus, Ks, Kathy McAfoos of Louisburg, KS and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 3 sisters; Shirley Kinman, Ann Miller, Henrietta Wilson Maxton,4 brothers; Bobby Wilson, Bill Wilson, Carl (Sonny) Sharp and Billy Sharp.

Graveside services will be 11:30am, Monday, September 10, 2018 at the Columbus Park Cemetery in Columbus, KS with Rev. Duane Elmore officiating, Burial will follow. The family will receive friends at 10 am prior to the graveside service at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Columbus.

Family and friends are invited to the Columbus Community building after the service for food and fellowship.
