(From Clark Funeral Home)Julia Ann Loper was born December 19, 1938 in Altus, Oklahoma, the daughter of Adron Wilson and Gertie Lee (Cain) Thomas. She entered into rest on September 13, 2020 in Neosho, Missouri at the age of 81.
Julia was a homemaker and loved her family. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, sharing lifetime stories and pudding pops. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Altus for over 62 years.
Julia and Sidney Don Loper, Sr. were married on May 18, 1957 in Altus and he preceded her in death in 1988.
She is survived by three children, Shirley Prenot and husband, Frank Andrew of Neosho, Victoria Angelina Loper of Neosho and Sidney Don Loper, Jr. and wife, Tammy Sue of Altus, Oklahoma; one sister, Sandra Jo Tiernan of Altus; grandchildren, Dorothy Rose Sarratt and husband, Allen Dale and Amanda Rae Martinez and great grandchildren, Natalie Marie and Erica Nicole Sarratt.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Dale Sarratt. Graveside services are planned for Saturday, September 18, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Altus Memorial Cemetery, Altus, Oklahoma. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home on Thursday from noon until 5 pm.
