Jack McKibben

Jack Earl McKibben age 79 of Webb City, Missouri passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. He was born on April 29, 1941 in Webb City, Missouri to Arthur Earl McKibben and Nona (Gladden) McKibben. 

Jack worked for Allgeier Martin and Associates until his retirement. He was a United States Army Veteran in the 9th Infantry Division having served in the Vietnam War. 

Jack married Peggy (Sistrunk) McKibben on July 28, 1966 at the Carterville Christian Church in Carterville, Missouri and she survives him.






 

 He is also survived by his daughters, Jackie McKibben of Webb City, Cheryl McKibben-Najafi and husband Jahm of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Derek Mann of Purdy, Missouri, Jeremy Mann of Webb City, Missouri, Sydney Leuthen of Webb City, Missouri, Olivia Najafi of Phoenix, Arizona, Cameron Najafi of Phoenix, Arizona, Sophia Najafi of Phoenix, Arizona; and his brothers, Gene McKibben and wife Sara of St. Charles, Missouri, Jerrey McKibben and wife Carol of Bella Vista, Arkansas. 

Jack was preceded in death by a son, Shannon Mckibben. 

Funeral services will be held at Wellspring Church in Webb City on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Tyler Davison officiating. The family will be present for visitation on Monday at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM for visitation. Burial will follow services in Carterville Cemetery with full military honors.
