Keith Brown

(From Fohn Funeral Home)

Keith Brown, age 64, of Wheaton, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 5:30 a.m. at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri after a short illness with COVID.

He was born July 8, 1956 in Orlando, Florida to Ray and Edna (Hazelwood) Brown, she survives.

On April 15, 1977 he was united in marriage to Debbie (Robbins) Brown. She also survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Christy Bray and her husband Randall of Diamond, Missouri; one grandson, Michael Bray of Diamond, Missouri; two granddaughters, Teagan Obannon and her husband Blane of Springdale, Arkansas and Morgan Bray of Goodman, Missouri and one great-grandson, Tate Obannon with another great grandchild on the way. He is survived by his brother, Gary Brown and his wife Karen of Monett, Missouri and one sister, Evelyn Brattin of Exeter, Missouri.

Keith was employed by Regal Beloit of Cassville, Missouri where he had been for forty-four years and was still there at this time. Keith loved hunting, fishing, stock car races and going to the cafe in Wheaton every weekend for coffee. He enjoyed visiting with all the “old timers”.

His most favorite pastime was going to watch his daughter and grandson play sports. Keith and Debbie were very fortunate. They were able to watch every game that Christy and Michael participated in and never missed a one. Keith and an old friend, Larry Butler were able to coach their daughters for thirteen years of summer softball. They both enjoyed every minute of it and were praised from many schools for winning twelve out of thirteen years. He enjoyed watching the races in the summer, where his nephew raced a lot of weekends.

Keith was loved by many friends and family and will be sadly missed.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his dad, Ray and his sister, Sharon.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2020 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Danny Heupel will conduct the services. Burial will be at Corinth Cemetery in Cassville.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
