Dale Probert

Dale Wesley Probert, 87, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at his home in Carthage. Dale was born July 8, 1933 in Carthage to George and Della (Harris) Probert. 

He was a lifetime resident of Carthage and a crop duster by trade; he was the owner of Dale Probert’s Aerial Crop Dusting for over 45 years. Dale loved to hunt, fish attend fly-ins and visit flea markets, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids.

Dale was united in marriage to his beloved Elgin Yvonne “Vonnie” Brooks On November 2, 1964 in Miami, OK; she preceded him in death December 9, 2020.








Dale is survived by one son, Wes Probert (Corine) of Carthage; two daughters, Cindy Williams and Janet Crowe (Derek), both of Carthage; one sister, Nona Probert of Joplin; eight grandchildren, Amber, Blake, Megan, Hailey, Karley, Katie, Presley and Raven; four great grandchildren, Bradon, Kaydence, Brooklyn and Luna Rae.

Dale was preceded in death by six brothers, Howard, Paul, Lester, John, Roy and Donald; three sisters, Marge, Phyllis and Katherine.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Hackney Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2021 at Ulmer Funeral Home.

Contributions may be made to Dale and Yvonne Probert Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
