(From Clark Funeral Home)Joseph W. Stewart was born January 9, 1956 Stella, Missouri, one of four sons to Raymond and Leta (Cochran) Stewart. He entered into rest on January 15, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin at the age of 65.
Joseph was a lifelong area resident and a self-employed truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Joseph and Agnes Patrick were married on Nov. 4, 1986 in Neosho and she survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Nile (Stephanie) Stewart, Heather (Matthew) Withnell, Michael Stewart, Kendra Stewart and Angela (Kyle) Libby; three brothers, Charles Stewart, Edmond Stewart and Jack Stewart; eight grandchildren and one on the way.
Joseph was preceded in death by one brother, Kenny Stewart.
Visitation services will be held on Saturday, January 23, from 1 pm – 3 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby. Joseph will be cremated following the visitation.
