(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Mr. Ronald William Malven, 62, of Reeds, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family.
Ronald entered this life on August 5, 1958 in Carthage, Missouri, to the union of Robert and Helen (Lee) Malven. Ronald was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of Sarcoxie High School.
On June 22, 2002 he was united in marriage to Mary Sloniker. Together they shared eighteen years until his passing. He had been employed by the City of Sarcoxie. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sarcoxie. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Ronald will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Malven.
Ronald is survived by his wife Mary, of the home; children, Billy Malven, Danny Malven and Elizabeth Malven; mother, Helen Malven, of Nixa, Missouri; siblings, Brian Malven and wife, Norma, of San Antonio, Texas and Julie Duston and husband, Randy, of Nixa, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; two sister-in-law’s and brother-in-law, Marilyn Chapman and husband, Rob, and Marsha Henson, all of Joplin, Missouri; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services are 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the Sarcoxie Community Center. Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie.
