Donald was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had been employed with Goodwill Industries. Donald was a member of Rocketdyne Church of Christ. He enjoyed the outdoors, movies, and all sort of trivia.
Donald is survived by his mother, Caroline Hess of Rocky Comfort; one brother, Bob Hess and wife, Diana of Neosho, MO; one sister, Vicki Hess of Joplin, MO; one niece; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Hess and one brother, Noel Hess.
