Penelope Marie Lara, daughter of Nicholas and Kayla Lara, ascended into Heaven on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at the age of 7 months and 2 days. She was born on July 2, 2020 in Joplin, MO.
Penelope is survived by her parents, Nicholas and Kayla Lara; her sisters, Olivia Kay, Trinity Rose, Brianna Grace, and Brookelyn Faith; her grandparents, Linda and Donovan Sorden, and Alfred and Loana Burton; her great-grandparents, Shirlene Sorden and Rosea Holder; her special aunts, Nicole Eisensee and Jessica Gossett; her special cousin, Emma Eisensee; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
Preceding her in death was her great-grandfather, Donald Holder.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021, in Lockwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
