Johnnie Davis

Johnnie Davis, 57, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021.

Johnnie was born October 27, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Arnie Davis and Mossie (Turner) Davis. He had lived in the Joplin area for a greater part of his life. Johnnie was an amazing dad, great brother and a phenomenal friend to many.

Johnnie enjoyed the outdoors and spending time working on landscaping and planting flowers. He had an adventurous spirit and road trips with family were one of his greatest joys. He loved to sing karaoke, therefore during those road trips he and the kids always sang “Roll on 18 Wheeler” by Alabama. Johnnie was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Cubs fan, never missing a game. 








 He had a loving and caring heart and his smile could light up the room. Family was very important to Johnnie and he cherished the memories created with them. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Johnnie was united in marriage to Diana Fuller and to this union there were three boys, Johnnie, Walter and Joseph. She survives. He then married Cathy Davis and to this union there was one son Timothy. She survives.

In addition to his parents Johnnie was preceded in death by his sisters, Lucile Mannuzza and Phyllis Noe.

Survivors include his children, Johnnie Davis and wife, Stephanie, Walter Fleming and wife, Alicia, Joseph Davis, Timothy Davis; grandchildren, Samuel Fleming, Conner Fleming, Krista Fleming; siblings, Joseph Noe and wife Barbara, Katherine Craig, Victor Ruiz and Wife Christine; together with several extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel Pastor Alan McCamey officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
