Maureen Mary Holbrook of Miami, OK passed from this life Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Higher Call Nursing Home in Quapaw, OK. She was 84.
Maureen was born March 17, 1936 in Detroit, MI to Maurice and Pauline (McCarthy) Doran. She moved from Greenville, MI in 1978 to Baxter Springs, KS until she moved to Joplin, MO, in 1992 she moved to Miami, OK. She was the director of the Chamber of Commerce in Baxter Springs, KS and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Miami, OK.
Maureen was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Holbrook, August 18, 2008, 1 son Paul Holbrook, 1 granddaughter, her parents and 1 brother Ronald Doran.
Maureen is survived by 3 sons Matthew Holbrook of Miami, OK, Maurie Holbrook and wife Maria of Ludington, MI and Mark Holbrook and wife Tiffany of Springfield, MO, 1 daughter Meleen Froman and husband John of Miami, OK, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
