Larry Jackson

Larry Lee Jackson, age 84, of Wentworth, MO passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Joplin Health and Rehabilitation Center in Joplin, MO. 

Mr. Jackson was born in Greenbush Township, IL on Sunday, October 18, 1936. He was the son of Elba Lee and Pearl (Davis) Jackson. Mr. Jackson grew up in Avon, Illinois. 

He married Linda Lou Anders on Wednesday, August 4, 1971 in Illinois. Mr. Jackson served his country in the Navy where he traveled. Mr. Jackson attended Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL where he obtained a Real Estate license. He also had a private pilot's license and loved to fly. Mr. Jackson retired, after working over thirty years, from Admiral where he was a tool and dye lineman.






 Mr. and Mrs. Jackson moved to Missouri, in 1985, after retirement. Mr. Jackson enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles, and cars. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears and watched many of the local games his grandchildren played in during school. Mr. Jackson was a member of the Masons for over 40 years in Illinois.

Mr. Jackson is survived by one son, Ronald (Kristine) Huggins of Mid West City, OK; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elba and Pearl; his wife, Linda; two sons, Ricky Lee and Larry Loren; and a brother, David.

Mr. Jackson has been cremated at his request. There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
