Wilma Frances Gibbens, 95, Neosho, MO entered into rest April 18, 2021. She was born October 21, 1926 in Laclede, MO to Sarah (Harvey) and Willie Lane.
Wilma was a homemaker and loved different kinds of birds and animals, cooking, gardening, and the outdoors. She was a member of Newtonia Baptist Church.
Wilma and Hugh Gibbens were married October 16, 1941; he passed away August 11, 2002.
Wilma is survived by her daughter, Sarah McNeely and husband, Bud of Stark City, MO; three grandchildren, Kimmie Carman of Neosho, Lecia Cialini and husband, Dane of Neosho, and Stephanie Lynn and husband, Ken of Stockton, MO; six great grandchildren; and seventeen great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Georgia Glenn; an infant daughter, Wilma Jean Gibbens; and a son, Hugh Gibbens, Jr.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 22, 2021, at Newtonia IOOF Cemetery, with Reverend Doug Gripka officiating.
