Bob Benigar

Bobby Jean “Bob” Benigar, age 88, Joplin, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Mercy of Joplin.

Bob was born July 9, 1932 in Oklahoma, son of the late James E. Benigar and Rhoda Carey. He grew up in Oklahoma and was proud of his Cherokee Heritage. He worked for King Press in Joplin as a machinist for many years before retiring.

 

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly F. Benigar who passed away on January 4, 2013.

Bob is survived by several nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and step-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Hazel Green Cemetery, Boulder City, Missouri.

The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
