Carl Clayton Greenfeather of Colcord, OK passed from this life Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at his home. He was 79.

Carl was born October 2, 1941 in Claremore, OK to Luther Otis and Dora (Doan) Greenfeather. He had lived in Colcord for the past 12 years moving from Quapaw, OK. 

Carl had worked for La-Z-Boy in Neosho, MO and in the Oil Fields in Clinton, OK. He had been an Assembly of God minister. He attended First Freewill Baptist Church in Quapaw, OK and Piney Baptist Church in Colcord, OK. Carl was a member of the Cherokee Nation.

Carl was preceded in death by his life Sally Greenfeather, July 4, 2019, 1 son Rick “Buck” Greenfeather July 4, 2021, 1 granddaughter, his parents, 3 brothers, A.J. Greenfeather, Jim “Big Boy” Greenfeather, Junior Thompson and Alonzo Greenfeather and 1 sister, Sissy Greenfeather.

Survivors include 5 sons Donnie Greenfeather of Vinita, OK, Jon Greenfeather of Baxter Springs, KS, Stacy Greenfeather of Lamar, MO, Justin Chandler and wife Molly of Joplin, MO and Josh Bear and wife Alicia of Miami, OK, 3 daughters, Carla Durborow of Miami, OK, Donna Leeds and husband Robert of Wyandotte, OK and Bonyta Osborn of Fairland, OK, 3 brothers, Roy Greenfeather of Warsaw, MO, Eddie Thompson of Parsons, KS and Carment Thompson of Parsons, KS, 2 sisters Faye Meadows of Broken Arrow, OK and Doris Kellogg of Parsons, KS, 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday July 12, 2021 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Robert Nutting will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
