(From Simpson Funeral Home)Marilyn Sue Grieb "Gana" was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She left this world on June 30, 2021 at age 84, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to Gerald and Lucille Breeden on June 9, 1937.
She is preceded in death by her husband, H.D. Grieb.
She is survived by her three daughters: Duana Jennings (Steve), Dona Grieb (Linda), and DeLynne Fordyce (Michael); her three granddaughters: Machaela Cantu (Jeremy), Meghan Fordyce, and Callie Jennings; her two great-grandchildren: Ethan Cantu and Maelynn Fordyce.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Marilyn. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, shopping, and loved all animals. She will be greatly missed by her family. Marilyn’s pets gave her unconditional love and enriched her life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Joplin Humane Society in her memory.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date. Marilyn loved margaritas. Honor her memory with a margarita today.
