Taylor Bass

Taylor Ann Danae Bass, 26, of Carl Junction, Missouri formerly of Reeds, Missouri, passed away suddenly, Monday, July 12, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, surrounded by her loving family.

Taylor was born on Thursday, March 2, 1995 in Joplin, Missouri. She was a graduate of Sarcoxie High School. She was a licensed Esthetician and was currently working on her bachelor’s degree through Park University to further her education to become a Veterinarian. She had just recently moved back from Kansas City after three years of studying.

Taylor was a person who loved and lived life to the very fullest and touched so many lives, never meeting a stranger. She had a deep passion for animals and music. At a young age she began attending concerts with her mother. Through her years she attended well over two hundred concerts, many were well known artist and she knew them personally. She spoke and loved all kinds of music. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Carthage, Missouri. Taylor will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Brent Patton.

Taylor is survived by her parents, Murrell Bass, Jr. and Charla Rausa, along with her husband, Jeff Rausa; grandmother, Joyce Patton, aunt, Shael (Nae Nae); many cousins; others she holds most dearest to her heart, Zach Cook, Nikki Freelend and Rikki Ramirez; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Memorial services for Taylor are 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 at The Lighthouse in Carthage, Missouri. The family has requested no flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Charla Rausa in care of the funeral home.
