(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Teresa G Olds, age 69, passed away at 11:29 am, Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, MO following an illness.
Teresa was born December 7, 1951 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Her parents were Delbert and Wilma Hope (Williams) Wolf. She had lived in Joplin since the late 1970’s moving from Miami, OK where she had lived since she was 6 years old.
Teresa was an LPN. She had worked at several area nursing homes. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and horseback riding.
Teresa was married to Lewis L. Olds in 1984 in Miami. He survives.
Additional survivors include one son, Bryant Beehler, Joplin, MO; two stepsons Richard Olds, Joplin, and Shane Olds (Hannelie) Joplin, two granddaughters, Alex Vineyard (Elijah), Joplin and Sadie Miller, Baxter Springs; one step grandson, Cash Olds, Joplin; and one great grandson, Carson Vineyard.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Dusty Miller.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS. Pastor Steven Daugherty will officiate. Burial will be in Osborne Memorial Cemetery Joplin, MO.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 pm, Friday, July 16, 2021 at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS.
