Geraldine Halverson

Geraldine C. Halverson was born June 7, 1924 in Enid, Oklahoma, one of three children to Lawrence G. and Eunice (Manners) DeWitt. She entered into the gates heaven on August 16, 2021 in Neosho, at the age of 97. 

Geraldine moved to the area from Northbrook, Illinois and was a homemaker, had worked as an LPN, as well as other jobs. She was a member of the Silver Follies Group, the Community Senior Citizens exercise group and Neosho Area Widow to Widow. She enjoyed having coffee with her girlfriends, going to the Donut shop, going to the Stella Senior Citizens dances and getting together with her family. 

Geraldine and Alby Christian Halverson, Sr. were married on August 12, 1942 and he preceded her in death on August 28, 1983. Geraldine is survived by two children, Alby Christian (Doc) Halverson, Jr. of Anderson and Cheryl Bolen of Neosho, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. 

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
