ILyas was of Muslim Faith, His parents are Brice Reed Jr and the late Mary “Sanders” Reed. On Aug 10, 2021 ILyas was called home to be with his Allah.
ILyas is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Lizzy” Qawishabazz of the home, Father Brice Reed Jr of IL, Sister Kerry Reed of IL, Aunt “Mother” Maurice Murphy of IL, Bonus Father Edward Greenfield of the home, and his children, ILyas Qawishabazz JR of IL, Masad Qawishabazz of IL, Nick Skow of OK, and Dyonte Malik Qawishabazz, of MO and Zenobia Iman Latif Wade Qawishabazz of IL, Heather & Lia Skow of OK, Brooklynn Skow and Gaige of ok, Tori Powell of ok, cousins Leroy and wife Marilyn Sanders of Ark, Irma “Sanders” Eans of Ark, Norma Sanders of IL, Raymond Sanders of Ark, and a host of Grandchildren, cousins, extended and bonus family and friends.
He worked in Southwest Mo at Simmons Foods “SIMMONS STRONG."
ILyas had a smile that could light up any room, a laugh that could make anyone smile. No one was just Partners “friends” they was family, ILyas had an ability to see the best in everyone and make you see their worth.
On August 21, 2021 @ 2pm a Celebration of his Life has been scheduled at the Faith Tabernacle located at 820 N Schiffendecker Ave Joplin Mo.
