Charles Downey

Charles Downey, 51, of Neosho, Missouri passed away on September 16th, 2021, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Charles was born August 12, 1970, to Charles and Mattie (Clark) Watkins in Joplin, Missouri. Charles spent most of his life in the Joplin area. He spent the majority of his time working as a forklift driver for Red Collar Pet Products. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, and going to the shooting range.

Charles is survived by six children: Nicole, Lakeisha (Carthage), Cameron (Oronogo), Kimberlin, Breanna, and Brenden (Neosho). Three grandchildren; Braiyan, Imani, and Rylan (Carthage). Longtime partner, Heather Clement (Neosho). Three sisters, two brothers along with multiple nieces and nephews. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one sister.

Charles will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm on September 23rd, 2021, at Mason Woodard Mortuary. Service to follow. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery following the service.
