Jerry Fausett

(From Greenlawn Funeral Home)

Jerry Fausett peacefully finished his race December 7, 2021, at Point Lookout Nursing Home in the heart of the beautiful Ozark Hills he called home.

Son of Roscoe and Ruth Fausett, Jerry was big brother to Charlotte, Marvin, Elnora, Mary Ellen and Donna. His winsome personality elected him to Vice President of Branson High School class of 1953.

After graduating and briefly working at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas, Jerry enlisted in the army and served during the Cold War over seas in Germany. Over these years he fell in love with Alma Hartzell. She helped bring him to know Jesus. They married and lovingly raised three children, Linda, Lori and Larry on their small farm in Branson.

Jerry worked for many years in the engineering department at Continental Telephone Company from which he retired. Jerry loved Jesus and his work ethic was unmatched. This helped him faithfully serve as a deacon in Victor Baptist Church and distribute Bibles as a Gideon in the Branson Camp.

He will forever be remembered as a kind, loyal and generous man who always took excellent care of the people he loved. As Jerry had never met a stranger, he had numerous friends and acquaintances. He loved to provide a meal and share stories with everyone which usually included a hunting or fishing adventure. Jerry will be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his children Linda and husband Rick Pangborn of Branson, Larry and wife Stacy Fausett of Lamar, and Lori and husband Jason Krehbiel of Lamar, along with thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Victor Baptist Church near Branson with Pastor Kenny Robinette officiating. Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Victor Baptist Church near Branson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in his memory to the Gideon’s Bibles.
