Kathy Bankston

Kathy Frances Bankston, age 63, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 8:54 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021, at her home. She was born November 2, 1958, in San Bernardino, California, the daughter of the late Ralph and Wanda (Coleman) Bassett. 

Kathy grew up in California and graduated from Fontana High School. In 2010 she moved to Neosho to be near her family. Kathy was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl Bankston, LaCrinza Bankston, and Kristin Martinez and her husband Abel; three grandchildren, Tobias and Raelynn Schobitz, and Zayden Martinez, all of Neosho; and two sisters, Gwen Stephens and her husband, Ron, of Rancho, California and Cheryl Snyder and her husband, Michael of Phoenix, Arizona.

In addition to her parents, her two brothers, David Bassett, Gary Bassett, and sister, Nancy Savia, preceded her in death.
