Esther McKlintic

Esther P. McKlintic was born June 25, 1925 in Scott City, Kansas, one of ten children to Clarence K. and Mary Jane (Hill) Bennett. She entered into rest on February 13, 2022, following a short illness at the age of 96. 

Esther met her husband, Willard E. McKlintic while he was stationed at Fort Crowder and they were married on February 5, 1944 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Willard preceded her in death on April 24, 2012. 









She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her grandchildren, working in her yard, bird watching, going to garage sales and playing bingo. She was a member of the Southwest City Baptist Church. 

Esther is survived by four children, Glenda Kay Lasswell of Joplin, Missouri, Wanda Jaimez and husband, Alfredo of Carl Junction, Missouri, Roger McKlintic of Nevada, Missouri and Kim McKlintic of Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Ruby Burnham of Joplin, Missouri; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. 

In addition to her husband of 68 years, she is preceded in death by eight siblings and her parents.
